This scene is from a stopover for lunch on one of the great drives of the world. Franz Josef Highway winds its way along the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Next to Lake Mapourika there’s a rest stop. A short stroll takes you into classic east coast bush. Tree ferns, beech trees, vines and shrubs, all bathed in recent rain and filtered light.
